 the tides

Sea defence works and outfall installations

Being based in the Channel Islands Brewnal are often contracted to work on the Channel Islands sea defences, harbours, outfalls and marinas. Works will include upgrading of granite wall pointing, reconstruction of sea walls, replacing damaged granite slip ways and installing or repairing storm water outfalls.

When working on any tidal structure, work has to meticulously planned taking into account working times within the intertidal zone, access to and from the structure and the weather effect on tide heights, sea swells and wave energy.
