Waterfront Development Drainage

Dandara Jersey contracted Brenwal to relay 2nr sections of foul drainage pipework previously installed at the waterfront. The existing pipe was damaged and cracked and had some grout infiltration from previous works carried out on the site.

The existing drain was approximately 5 metres deep to invert level in bad ground condition, due to the location being a land fill area. The method for installation of sheet piles was dig and push in the traditional method ensuring the toe of the piles were 1 metre past the invert level. Brenwal designed the shoring system so the works could be carried out safely.
